Early Elementary Division (K-2nd Grade)
Kindergarten
In Kindergarten, your child will have the same set of teachers throughout the year, enabling them to build a loving relationship with your child. Our curriculum is Bible based incorporating storytelling and worship as well as various other activity stations set up each week. Your child will bring home a take-home paper that supports the Bible lesson and memory verse learned that week. Our prayer is that your family will use this as a tool to reinforce during the week what your child has learned on Sunday.
1st and 2nd Grades
Our 1st and 2nd Grades have different curriculum and format options to chose from. Three of our service hours (8:00 a.m.; 9:45 a.m.; & 6:00 p.m.) offer a classroom setting, much like our Kindergartners as mentioned above.
The 11:30 a.m. service is a large group/small group format for 1st-3rd Graders in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Here, your child has an opportunity to hang out with friends and participate in activity stations for the first 15 minutes. The rest of the service is spent in large group worship/teaching then in a small group for discussion and shepherding.
Our Team
A wonderful team of volunteers who are carefully screened before they serve in the classroom staffs the Early Elementary Division. They are serving because they know the importance of teaching your child about God’s love and how Jesus has provided a way for us to live with Him forever.
